지구라는 행성이 중력이라는 정해진 법칙에 따라 원을 그리며 우주를 유영하는 동안, 하나 또는 두셋 정도의 생명체가 여러가지 힘을 통해 생겨나고, 처음에는 단순했던 이 생명체의 형태가 그렇게도 아름답고 경탄을 자아내는 생명체들로 진화해왔다는, 생명을 보는 이러한 관점에는 장엄함이 깃들어 있다.
